  • Fruit: 100% Baranoff Family vineyard, planted in 2001. Meticulously and sustainably farmed by Small Vines Viticulture with organic weed control .

  • Fruit: 100% M.K Vineyard: Planted in 1999, east facing ridge above Occidental, 800 ft elevation, 10.5 miles from the coast. Meticulously farmed by Small Vines Viticulture without the use of synthetic chemicals organically/biodynamically farmed.
  • Spacing: 4 x4 (2722 vines per acre)
  • Yields : ~2.5 lbs. per vine, lightly thinned for uniformity
  • Clones: Di jon 114, 115, 667, 777
  • Harvest dates: September 8, 2009
  • Average Brix: 24.2

  • Hand Harvest Dates: Baranoff: 9/4/2008 and 9/6/2008 at 26.7 Brix; MK Vineyard: 9/2/2008 at 25.1 Brix; Leepin: 9/6/2008 at 25.7 Brix and 9/26/2008 at 24.8 Brix; Old Mill: 9/2/2008 at 25.1 Brix and 9/26/2008 at 24.8 Brix.

2007 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay - SOLD OUT

Our first Chardonnay is bright, crisp and lively. The bouquet reveals beautiful floral characters with minerality and citrus. It has a sumptuous mouth feel, yet that fabulous acidity that compliments food so well, which comes from the cool coastal fruit. Because of the 20% stainless it exhibits clean, fresh purity of fruit. One could easily mistake this wine for a white Burgundy.
